A study using 96 one-day-old Ross 308 broilers was conducted to assess the effect of ginger root powder (zingiberofficinale) on homural immunity of broiler chickens. The birds were housed in 12 wire cages in an environmentally controlled room. Dietary treatments were no supplementation (control) and supplementation with ginger root powder at the levels of 5 g/kg and 10 g/kg of diet. Each group concluded 32 chickens and the experiment conducted with four replication for each 8 chickens in each group. On 9th ,23rd and 35th days of aviculture 6 chickens selected randomly from each group and their blood samples were taken to laboratory to coduct HI test (Prevention from Hemangontinasion) and obtained homural immunity level recorded and studied: obtained results analyzed by statistical tests and observed that using ginger rhizome powder increased homural immunity at 35th day.
